Alijah's backstory

"Alijah?! Alijah where are you?! Mom said it's time for dinner and needs both of us to come downstairs to eat!"

Kaiden was looking for his step-sister, as he was walking upstairs. Alijah was sitting in her room as she was trying to take a nap. Kaiden then slams the door open as he goes to her.

"Alijah!" He yelled.

"Ah! I'm up!" She sat up with her eyes widen, as her little step-brother rolls his eyes.

"Mom said dinner'a ready. She called your name two times and asked me to get you. Now com'n. We're having spaghetti tonight."

"What ever you say, brother." Alijah gets out of her bed.

"Step-brother." Kadin corrected her. "We've been together for 2 years already. Almost 3. I get you see me as a brother, but we don't have the same parents. Your step-father is my dad, Karl, and my step-mother is your mother, Michelle... Look. I may act like the older sibling, but you're the oldest. I'm going to be in high-school next year. And you're going to be in college soon. And it's now been a year, since dad got deployed to Afghanistan."

"I'm only 16."

"I know. And I worry. Now com'n. Our dinner is getting cold."

As the two went downstairs, there mother, Michelle, was waiting as the two walked down stairs. The two kids comes into the kitchen and sits down.

"There you are." Michelle said. "Alijah, did you talking a nap?"

Her daughter nodded. "I didn't get any sleep last night because I had a hard time."

"Well I'm glad you're trying to sleep early." She smiles. "You both have school tomorrow. You need to teach your brother how to take care of himself in high school."

Kadin eats his spaghetti as his step-sister elbows him.

"Ow!"

"We didn't prey yet."

"Well you don't have to elbow me!"

"Kids!" Michelle gets there attention. "Please don't argue. You guys been like this since Karl left. And I don't like it."

Alijah sighs. "You're right."

"I get he is in a dangerous place. Not like Heaviside."

"What's Heaviside?" Kadin raised an eyebrow.

"A very dangerous universe." Alijah looks at him. "You'll learn more about it once we go to school tomorrow. You'll OLD enough to learn about it."

"You're sister is right. You're almost 15 years old. You got held back a grade but I'm sure you'll do great."

Kaiden smiles as she gets up and hugs Michelle. "Thanks mom. I'm glad you're always there for me and dad."

Alijah hugs her too. "I think you're a great mother."

Michelle smiles and then and hugs them back.

A few days later, school has started and Alijah has been helping Kadin with everything. They hadn't argued, they hadn't got into any trouble, no tarty's, and made a few new friends. Alijah made only two so far. She was friends with a girl with purple hair, a purple cat tail, had cat ears, blue eyes mixed with purple, and pale skin. Along with that, her other friend was a African American, with pink lips, red eyes, and short red hair. They're names were Junko and Sydney. Junko was 15 years old and Sydney was only 17.

Meanwhile, Kadin only made one friend. The only friend he made was a Indian kid  named Rushma. She wasn't really a teenager. She was about 10 or 9 years old. The reason why she was in high school because she skipped several grades because she was super smart. She was in the same grade that Kaiden was in. And was super nice.

On the 17th day on school, they were in glass learning about different universes. The teacher wasn't really nice when someone is lacking attention, not listen, or sleeping in class as she was teaching class, she saw a student sleeping on the table. She growls as she wears to the student.

"LaDawn?! Wake up!" She slams the books on the students desk as everyone looks at them.

"AH! I'm awake!" She shouted.

Everyone laughs except Sydney, Rushma and Kadin.

"Silence!"

Everyone stood quiet.

"I'm just gonna leave her a warning." She looks at the student with a scowl. "Otherwise she would of been sent the office."

The student looks away. The teacher walks up and puts on a PowerPoint presentation.

"Alright class." She continued. "We are going to be learning about two Universes. Vixia and Heaviside. We are mostly gonna focus Heaviside."

"Uh-"

"Shut it, Kadin!" The teacher yelled. "I apologize for that. But don't interrupt a teacher when talking... now let's get to it."

The teacher points the remote to the PowerPoint as it changes. As she was giving lecture, Aligah yawns as she was starting to get bored since she's been to this school for about 3 years. As she looks around, she saw something that wasn't right. She notice there was a cat looking at her. Not just any normal cat. It was a white human sized cat. She had a grin on her face like if she gonna kill her.

"Alijah?"

Alijah turns to the teacher.

"Take a guess. Is Heaviside safe to live on."

"Um..." she looks at the window and didn't see the cat again. Her eyes widen.

"Well?"

The student waits and she turns to them. She shakes her head no.

"That's correct." The teacher writes her response. "No. it's. NOT!"

The students were amazed yet surprised hearing this.

"Heaviside is a dangerous place there. It's like Earth, except the sky is basically space. The only thing that is racist is that anyone with robot parts aren't allowed to be in there schools. The human population over there is extremely rare. Anyone who goes there, 1/1000 people comes out alive. The rest get killed."

The students gasped. Alijah raised an eyebrow. She hasn't been there before but she never heard this information. How strange.

At lunch, all the grades were eating their meals. The two step-siblings were eating there lunch with there friends at the same table. Out of all of them, they were eating hot lunch. Only Junko and Rushma were eating cold lunch.

"I have to say," Rushma began. "Learning about that universe, Heaviside, is interesting."

"You know Rushma, Sydney and I been there." Junko winked.

"Really?!" Kaiden yelled in excitement. "Awesome! I would love to go there!"

"But Kaiden. Miss Saltian said that it's too dangerous to live there. I can tell Junko and Sydney visit there often."

Sydney nods as she looks at Alijah. "You've been quiet Ali. What's the matter."

"Nothing really." She looked at the window. "I saw something outside from the window... like a human-sized cat. With yellow eyes but one was covered. Like she had an injury."

Sydney and Junko's eyes widen. They knew exactly who she is talking about. In fact, they know who she was talking about.

"Oh a kitty!" Rushma giggled. "That's pretty cool."

"To me re not." Kaiden pouted. "Most of the cars hate me."

"It's not that the cat hates me," she looked at her step-brother. "It's more like she wants to kill me."

"Ali, stop." Sydney interrupted. "We know what you're talking about."

"Well tell my sis and I what cha mean."

Sydney and Junko stood silent. Rushma was confused. The bell than ringed and it was time for them to go to glass. Alijah was concerned what was gonna happen. Was that cat gonna kill her or something? Or worse.

That evening, it was around 11pm. Almost midnight. Alijah and the others were asleep. While that, that white cat saw there house. She chuckled as she went to the house and broke in. Michelle than head the window broke. She gasped. As the children were asleep, she went to check what was the sound. As she went downstairs, she saw the white cat. She gasped as she saw her as she didn't recognized who she was. She went downstairs to hide and call the police. When she took 1 step, the stairs creeks. The unknown cat turns to her and smiles. She gets her claws out and goes to her.

Michelle screams as she was killed. Alijah heard it and runs out to find out what going on. As they went downstairs, it was even worse. The white cat has killed their mother.

"Oh my god!" Kaiden yelled. "Mom!"

He runs downstairs to attack the the cat.

"KAIDAN NO!"

Alijah tried to stop him, but the cat's robot arm turned into a blade and slashes Kaiden's head. Kaiden stopped. Alijah gasped. As Kaiden stood in silent, his entire head falls off of his body as blood gushes everyone. He was beheaded. Alijah was frozen. She just witness Kaiden, her own step brother, and Michelle, her own mother, Get killed. The cat slowly turns to Alijah and grins.

"Now it's your turn." She said.

As she was about to walk, She pushes her on the floor and was not happy.

"Get away from me!" She yelled. "You fucking murderer!"

Alijah than rans out of the house with only a t-shirt and black panties. The cat that gets up and hisses.

"You seen too much." She said as she ran off. "You will die."

She chased Alijah, she tried to escape from her. She ran as fast as she can to find the nearest police station. She suddenly tripped on the rock, while her right arm gets injured as he gets a scrap. She tried to get up, but the cat gets up. She slashes her claws onto Alijah. But she manage to block the attack with her injured arm. She screams as she tried to find help. The cat thang grabs her and starts to choke her to death.

"Stop now!" She continued to chocked.

"My name is Scratch. And this is the last thing you'll ever see!" She laughs as she tries to kill Alijah.

She than passes out as she was near death, suddenly and unknown figure roars as she charges at Scratch and hits her. Alijah hears who it is. She could not see who it was but can only hear roars and screaming.

Time had passed. For about 3 days, Alijah was passed out. She want dead. She survived.

After those three days, she finally woke up. She groans as she sits up. She sees her arm as she was injured. Sydney and Junko looks at her and were so happy that their friend finally woke up.

"ALIJAH!" Junko ran to Alijah and hugs her carefully. "We were worried!"

She let's go as Alijah looks at them.

"What happened?" She asked.

"You got attacked." Sydney explained. "Your family was killed and Scratch tried to kill you."

Alijah than remembers what happened. She did tried to get killed. And she saw her family murdered. She sighs sadly as she was about to cry. But before that, she remembers hearing something.

"Who saved me?"

Junko raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

"I heard roaring and I think that Scratch Anthro was actually fighting someone." She explained.

"Ooooh." Sydney said. "Com'n. You should meet him. It's my boyfriend."

Sydney helps Alijah up and events outside. As Alijah saw the man who saved her life, her eyes widen. It wasn't a man. It was a monster. About 6'5ft. He had pick black yet dark blue hair, his skin was a grayish blue along with that; his left hand was a giant metal-bone-like blade while his fingers and toes were a hollow iron metal. His mouth was like the one you would see on a pumpkin, both of his eyes eye different along with his upper face; as they were scars from an acid attack he survived. He had some stuff coming out from his arms, shoulders, and sides as they were the same metal yet bone-like material. He only wears a collar to keep him stable, black pants, and in the middle of his chest was an organ which happened to be his heart. The monster than turns to them. Not harming them at all. Alijah was surprised on what she was looking. And she knows this is not a dream.

"Whoa." She whispered to herself.

"This is Blake." Sydney said. "But he prefers to be called what he is. He goes by... Howler."

Howler than her up. Alijah goes to him very careful and was in front of the monster. He said nothing but looks down at her. Alijah than had tears in her eyes. And hugs him as she was thanking him for saving her thank.

"You saved me life." She said with tears in her eyes. "... thank you so much."

Howler smiled as he put his hand on her head. Sydney smiles as well as he said two words to Alijah:

"No problem."
